An ECE graduate from CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad, rejected a Rs 4 LPA non-technical job to pursue GATE despite family pressure. After securing State Rank 13 in PGCET, he earned his father’s support and prepared full-time for GATE at OHM Institute. He achieved AIR 1200, joined IIT Hyderabad’s M.Tech in VLSI programme and later secured a Qualcomm placement with a Rs 30 LPA CTC, demonstrating the value of perseverance and focused preparation.
