Indian weightlifting superstar Mirabai Chanu has reflected on her historic achievement at the Commonwealth Games 2026 after winning her third consecutive gold medal and continuing her remarkable dominance on the international stage. Competing in the women’s 48kg category in Glasgow, Mirabai delivered another gold-medal performance to complete a Commonwealth Games hat-trick following her triumphs at Gold Coast 2018 and Birmingham 2022. The victory also carried added significance as it opened India’s gold-medal account at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, setting the tone for the country’s campaign.
