The UGC has permitted one-year postgraduate programs through distance learning. This aligns with the National Education Policy 2020 guidelines. Institutions must already offer two-year programs in the same subject. Admission is for students with a four-year bachelor’s honors degree. All academic requirements must adhere to UGC regulations.
